Some updates

Cupcake Camp Charleston is making a few changes to accommodate 2021 as we ease back into Better Than Normal :). We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding through all this. One of the first changes is having only one competition this year, Best Tasting. We realize the local economy is still rebuilding and have opted out in asking for prizes. Winner will still win some goodies but not to the massive extent as it previously was.

Sponsors, we are still seeking donations for the bare minimum items such as napkins, plates and forks,  table cloths and of course, cupcakes! Thank you in advance!

One thing that will remain the same this year because of last year's cancellation is our local charity, Warrior Surf Foundation.  Founded by local veterans and surfers, Warrior Surf Foundation addresses post-service transition challenges through surf therapy, yoga, wellness sessions and community. All monetary donations will go to Warrior Surf Foundation. To volunteer or donate, please visit warriorsurf.org.

Please help us spread the word! Don't forget to like, follow, and subscribe to all our social media outlets!

Warrior Surf Foundation is 2020's charity for Cupcake Camp Charleston

Warrior Surf Foundation is this year's charity for Cupcake Camp Charleston. Warrior Surf Foundation is a Veteran operated non-profit organization aimed to help veterans with PTSD and physical injuries through surfing therapy.
Founded by professional surfers and True American combat veterans, Warrior Surf Foundation's military experience ranges from combat operations in OEF/OIF and surfing experience from professionals, coaches, and enthusiasts. Together, they make up a team that exemplifies true passion of introducing surf life and culture to those warriors who have returned home, injured from the battle field. The nature of war and its aftermath can be counter acted by using the ocean as a healing remedy. This can help wounded warriors move past some of these adverse effects of their selfless decision to serve a greater purpose than themselves. Warrior Surf Foundation's goal is to provide wounded warriors with quality surf instruction that may, as a result, give the individual another weapon to battle a new and forever enemy -- life after combat. Their financial needs, if met, will allow Warrior Surf Foundation to provide the utmost professional surf instruction, no matter the level of disability and give them the means to purchase the proper equipment needed to provide these warriors with a solid base to begin a new adventure in their lives.
Cupcake Camp Charleston is grateful to all veterans and proud to be a part in helping Warrior Surf Foundation. Thank you for your support. Please visit Warrior Surf Foundation for more information. Like Warrior Surf Foundation and follow them @Warriorsurf!

Meet Caitlyn Nye, another judge for Cupcake Camp Charleston

Caitlin Nye is a born and raised Charleston local who has a passion for working for local companies to highlight the best of this town. She cut her teeth in the food in beverage industry in New York City during her time at Marymount Manhattan College and brought that city work ethic back home to the lowcountry in 2013. Since then has served the people of Charleston at local establishments like the Glass Onion, The Daily, and as the general manager of Callie's Hot Little Biscuit on King Street. Currently she runs the Wentworth Mansion branch of Urban Nirvana day spas, but she spends her downtime trying out any new recipe she can get her hands on with her fiance, Dylan, and their three pets.
